Continuous monitoring
Monitoring of resources, services, availability and alerts across the whole infrastructure.
Cloud / Managed services
Pilot Systems does not just host your VMs. Our teams monitor, maintain, back up, secure and evolve them every day to guarantee their availability and limit the risk of incidents.
You get infrastructure that is continuously looked after, without having to build or mobilise an in-house systems team.

01 / NOC monitoring & Support
Permanent monitoring of your VMs, services and resources to detect anomalies, anticipate incidents and act before they affect your services.
Monitoring of resources, services, availability and alerts across the whole infrastructure.
Checks on sensitive points before incidents occur: domain name expiry, storage saturation, database growth, media, temporary files and capacity thresholds.
Alert qualification, diagnosis, technical intervention and follow-up until the service is fully restored.
The client front end of the Pilot NOC centralises incidents, their status, exchanges with our teams, the actions taken and their resolution, with a complete history.

02 / Maintenance & updates
Pilot maintains your system environments over the long term: security updates, version upgrades, resource monitoring, performance optimisation and upkeep of the VM’s technical stack.
Applying security patches, tracking vulnerabilities and keeping system components up to date to limit exposure to risk.
Managing Linux versions and the main system components, preparing and carrying out version upgrades, with compatibility checks and scheduled interventions.
Monitoring resources and saturation issues, identifying their origin and implementing the necessary optimisations: CPU, memory, storage, databases, caches and associated services.
Maintenance and configuration of the VM’s non-application software stack: Nginx, web servers, caching systems, databases and technical services. Handling of incidents and scheduled interventions, including out of hours when necessary.
03 / Backups, restoration & DRP
Regular backups and recovery mechanisms designed to protect data, quickly restore environments and ensure business continuity in the event of an incident.
A daily backup is kept for 7 days, then a weekly backup for 1 month. Systems, data, applications, configurations and logs are backed up to allow both targeted and complete restoration.
Pilot can restore a file, part of the file tree or a complete VM, in particular after an error, an accidental deletion or a compromise. These restoration operations are included in standard managed services, at no extra cost.
For environments with a contractual DRP, services can be restarted on an alternative infrastructure in the event of a major disaster, to reduce downtime and make it easier to resume business.

04 / Cybersecurity
Pilot builds cybersecurity directly into the day-to-day operation of infrastructure, drawing on years of systems experience: hardening, updates, best practices and continuous risk reduction.
Limiting exposed services to the strict minimum, closing unnecessary access and configuring systems to reduce the attack surface as much as possible.
Keeping systems and components up to date is one of the fundamentals of cybersecurity. Pilot applies security patches and updates on a regular basis.
Applying and enforcing security rules, even when they add constraints on usage: access management, separation of environments, least privilege and secure operating procedures.
Security also comes from people. With Tech Spark Training, our partner specialising in cybersecurity, we offer awareness, training and certification programmes tailored to different profiles.
